Andreea Mitrut
About Andreea Mitrut
Andreea is a tenured Associate Professor (Docent) at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. She has previously been an Assistant Professor at Uppsala University on a scholarship granted to young prominent researchers by The Jan Wallander and Tom Hedelius Research Foundation.
Her work is on empirical labour economics, with a special interest in health and education. She has published in journals such as AEJ: Economic Policy, Journal of Public Economics, Journal of Health Economics, and European Economic Review. Among the current research topics, she is looking at the relation between abortion and crime, and education and health.
