Yiyi Xu
About Yiyi Xu
Yiyi Xu has a solid education in medicine, epidemiology and public health. She got her PhD at Lund University based on projects focus on particulate air pollution and respiratory diseases. Now Yiyi has extended her interest to other environmental exposures, including perfluorinated substances (PFASs), which are important and widespread pollutants through drinking water; and heavy metals, which can present in daily food and occupational environment. She also has experience with genetic and epigenetic changes related to environmental exposures, trying to understand the underlying mechanism linking exposures and health outcomes. Yiyi has very good knowledge of epidemiology and advanced biostatistics, and she has massive experience in writing scientific papers in English.
