About R/V Skagerak

One of the world's most flexible research vessels - R/V Skagerak is used for research, education and commercial expeditions. With 49 metres in length and 11 metres in breadth, the vessel is designed to meet the needs of both the organisers and the participants. Home port is Nya Varvet in Gothenburg.

Technical specifications

R/V Skagerak was built by Nauta Shiprepair Yard S.A. in Gdynia, Poland 2013-2020, and completed at Falkvarv in Falkenberg, Sweden 2020-2021.

R/V Skagerak has 12 well-equipped cabins on board, of which five are single cabins, five are two-person cabins and two are three-person cabins.
