Short description

The research is focused on developing new knowledge concerning person-centered physiotherapy treatments for persons with long-lasting pain, fibromyalgia or rheumatoid disease. Treatments comprise physical activity or physical exercise, planned together with participants and their resources and limitations. Our randomized controlled studies are conducted together with health care, and they have shown to improve physical function, general health, pain, fatigue and quality of life. Qualitative studies show that participation in the treatments programs also contributes to a more constructive way to deal with pain and limitations.
