Short description

(CO-OP Approach) is a person-centered, performance-based and problem-solving approach that allows the person to find their own way of performing activities. Through an interactive process between the person and the therapist, using an overall strategy and guidance with reflective questions, the person chooses his or her own goals, is actively involved in the process of identifying strategies to improve competence and evaluating his or her performance of activities. Learning to use their own strategies and metacognitive thinking increases the person's ability to solve problems.
