New Research Environment on Climate Change and Migration

Anders Burman together with an international team of researchers has received a new grant from the Swedish Research Council on "A New Interdisciplinary Framework for Studying the Relation between Climate Change and Migration"

Anders Burman as project coordinator along with Andréas Litsegård, Deliang Chen, Karsten Paerregaard, Andrea Nightingale, Guillermo Salas, Truphena Mukuna, Dil Khatri, and Julia Curio have received a Swedish Research Council Interdisciplinary Research Environment Grant entitled "A New Interdisciplinary Framework for Studying the Relation between Climate Change and Migration". The research environment will examine three regions: the Andes, the Himalayas, and the Ethiopian Highlands.

The grant is for 30 million SEK over a period of 6 years.
