Article by Daniel Ljungberg and Magnus Holmén published


A new article by Daniel Ljungberg and Magnus Holmén, entitled “The teaching and societal services nexus: Academics' experiences in three disciplines”, has been published in the journal “Teaching in Higher education”.

The article is based on an interview study of Swedish academics, investigating the perception of academics regarding how their experiences from third mission activities, such as consulting and public lecturing, inform their teaching and vice versa. In so doing, the article contributes to the understanding of how academics work, by showing how academics combine prior experiences from their different roles to create new “academic innovations”, such as a new or improved lecture.
