Since 2021 Marianne Hester, professor at the Center for Gender and Violence Research, Bristol University, UK, is an affiliated professor at the department. Hester's area of research is "Gender, Violence and International Policy". She is a leading researcher in the field of gender-related violence in the UK as well as internationally.
