In Mölndal City Museum's collections are a number of photographs from the summer of 1946, when the Kvarnby School was used as an emergency hospital after the Second World War. About 200 refugees who had survived the concentration camps in Germany and Poland came here. Based on these photos glimpses of a family's story can be revealed.

This will be the starting point of this conversation where we will meet Christine Caux Gustafsson from Mölndal City Museum, cultural heritage researcher Elisabeth Punzi, University of Gothenburg and Josef Frischer, second generation survivor whose family history is glimpsed in the museum's archives.
