About Patrik Aronsson

Research group: Autonomic Neuroscience Unit

Patrik Aronsson (PhD) is researcher and docent (≈ associate professor) in pharmacology with an interest in functional purinergic and endocrine signalling and smooth muscle inflammation, as well as in education and pedagogics. He is course leader and examiner for a course in pharmacology, medicinal chemistry and pathology (FLS533) and teaches pharmacology at several different educations at the faculty.

Patrik Aronsson was, between 2013-2025, head of the pharmacy programme and the supplementary education program for persons holding a foreign (non-EU) pharmacist degree, Chairman of the Education board for the Pharmacy Programme, as well as member of the Council for Education in first and second cycle programmes at the Sahlgrenska Academy.
