Marouane's research interests include: Entrepreneurship theory, Design Science, Identity, Experimentation, and Entrepreneurial Ecosystems.

His scholarly contributions include publications in leading journals such as the Academy of Management Review and Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal.

Marouane is currently involved in a research project on SportTech entrepreneurship, with particular interest in young, innovative firms developing sports-related technologies. The project explores how these companies navigate the journey from idea to market, and how they experiment with both technology and business.
