Johannes Johansson is a PhD candidate at JMG within the research programme Varieties of Media Effects (VARME). He holds a master’s degree in European Studies, Politics and Public Administration from University of Gothenburg and University of Konstanz, and a bachelor’s degree in European Studies from University of Gothenburg. Previously, Johannes worked at the SOM-Institute and LORe at the University of Gothenburg as a deputy analyst. His research interests are centred on media-effects and public-opinion via media influence on individual perceptions about society, primary addressed using computational social science.
