I am a postdoctoral researcher in mathematics education with a background in teaching mathematics and physics at the upper secondary level. My research explores how students learn mathematics and the factors that shape their opportunities to develop their mathematical understanding.
In my doctoral research, I examined students' understanding of algebra, focusing in particular on their interpretation of linear equations involving negative and rational numbers. I am currently a researcher at the Akelius Math Learning Lab, where I study learning in digital environments and investigate how digital and physical instructional materials can be designed to support the learning of mathematics.
