The course addresses Global Citizenship Education, the role of teacher education in a globalized world, and the importance of cultural intelligence in diverse learning environments.
Students will learn to analyze global issues and reflect on how teachers can address these challenges in their future classrooms. In addition, the course highlights how statistics and evidence-based approaches can help us understand global challenges in education and explores how European education models shape teaching practices and educational policies.

Selection is based upon average grade from upper secondary school (34 %), the number of credits from previous university studies, maximum 165 credits (33 %) and Högskoleprovet - Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test (33 %).
