Equestrian Sports Science

Interdisciplinary research on horses and equestrian sports started in 2012 at the University of Gothenburg in collaboration with Chalmers Sports & Technology. The main purpose of the research conducted Gothenburg is to increase the welfare of the horse, and a large number of projects are under way in collaboration with Swedish and international partners.
