The podcast Akademiliv (in Swedish) – about the risks of white snus

Published

In a short period of time, it has become immensely popular to use white snus – especially among young people. At the same time, attitudes have also begun to change – more and more people think that smoking or using snus is not so dangerous. White snus is marketed as "tobacco-free," but that's not entirely true.

In this episode, you'll hear from Louise Adermark, a researcher in addiction medicine at the University of Gothenburg and an expert on nicotine. The conversation revolves around what we really know and don't know about the risks of white snus.

The podcast Akademiliv is produced by the Sahlgrenska Academy, which is the medical faculty at the University of Gothenburg.

The host is Elin Lindström, a Communcations Officer at  Sahlgrenska Academy. The technician is Mikael Werliin. The podcast is recorded at Media Technology University of Gothenburg.
