Svenny Kopp and Christopher Gillberg receive prize for best review article in Läkartidningen
The GNC is delighted to announce that Svenny Kopp and Christopher Gillberg have received a prize for the category best overview article in Läkartidningen 2022.
The article entitled ”Symtom, diagnostik och förlopp vid ADHD hos flickor och kvinnor” ("Symptoms, diagnosis and course of ADHD in girls and women") highlights the distinct lack of knowledge regarding ADHD in females and the historical reasons behind this.
In this article, Svenny and Christopher provide the readers with an insight into the difficulties that females with ADHD experience, ranging from self-harm and suicide attempts, to not receiving the correct psycho-educational/pharmacological help.
