A total of around SEK 56 million from the Swedish Cancer Society

Researchers at University of Gothenburg receives a total of around SEK 56 million in research funds in this year's distribution of research grants from the Swedish Cancer Society. Eva Forssell-Aronsson as well as several other research group leaders at Sahlgrenska Cancer Center are among the receivers of these funds.

Eva Forssell-Aronsson, professor in radiophysics and research group leader at Sahlgrenska Cancer Center is one of the researchers who have received several fundings from the Swedish Cancer Society this year. For her project about development and optimization of radionuclide therapy of neuroendocrine tumours, she receives a total of SEK 4 500 000 for the upcoming three years.

Further researchers at Sahlgrenska Cancer Center, who also receives fundings from the Swedish Cancer Society this year are; Jan-Erik Damber, Mikael Nilsson, Ola Nilsson Wassen and Karin Welén.
