This spring's application period for one-two postdoctoral positions at CERGU closed on May 4th. Of the altogether 86 applicants who submitted applications, 15 were Swedish citizens and applications were received from people in Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. 45 women, 40 men, and 1 other applied.
CERGU has four different research themes (Cultural Borders, Mobility and Migration in Europe, Institutions, Parties, and Movements, and External Relations, Security, and Trade) from which the prospective postdocs were asked to choose 1-2 themes that their own research connected to.
Applications will now be discussed and potential candidates will be narrowed down as the process moves forward. The expected start date for the new postdocs will be January 1, 2021.
