About us

Here you will find more information about the Lundberg Laboratory.

The Lundberg Laboratory for diabetes research was established in the mid-1990s with donations from the IngaBritt and Arne Lundberg Research Foundation. Diabetes is the number one cause for severe kidney disease. The desire of the foundation was, and still is, to support research aiming to prevent diabetes and its serious complications. The Lundberg Laboratory is a part of the Institute of Medicine at the University of Gothenburg.
