Centre for Health Governance is to be a platform for competence development for students and practitioners in health care to meet the challenges the sector faces.

Researchers and teachers from the School of Business, Economics and Law and the Sahlgrenska academy are involved in and also responsible for several courses within policy governance, health care, health economy and community medicine for both candidate- as well as masterlevel. Presented below are the programs with cooperation between the Sahlgrenska academy and the School of Business, Economics and Law.

Master's Programme in Global Health

The master's programme in Global Health provides an interdisciplinary perspective to global development and health. As a student of the programme, you will develop a range of competencies necessary for promoting global health equality and equity. You will be prepared to analyse and problematize the spreading of unequal health and be able to carry out interventions and contribute to a sustainable future.

Master's Programme in Public Health Science

Public health science is a multidisciplinary field that focus on health and disease at population level. The master’s programme in Public Health Science offers two unique specializations: health economics and health equality. In the health economic specialization, you will study economic development and health and methods for evaluating economic costs and benefits of health interventions. The specialization emphasizes local and civil society participation to achieve the right to health for all.

Master's programmes at the School of Business, Economics and Law

The School offers first-class internationally competitive education, where courses in Management and Governance is included in many of the Master's programmes, directly applicable in "Health Management".
