Teaching
I worked for six years as the director of studies for the psychology program, ending in June 2026, and now work with research and teaching. My teaching is mainly in the five year psychology degree program, where I am a course leader in the introductory course, the CBT course (Investigation and psychological treatment of individuals 1) in semester 7, Consultation and supervision in semester 9, and supervision in the therapy course's CBT component, semesters 7, 8, and 9.
In the psychology program, I initiated a collaboration with Universeum where we train prospective psychologists in the psychology program in treating specific phobias. We work with snake and spider phobias with a practical element where the students get to see and participate in an actual treatment in collaboration with Universeum.
Research interests
Tracking animals and humans - cognitive and experiential aspects
Survival Psychology and surviving extreme situations.
Current research
After a long pause in research after my postdoc, during which I worked clinically and did a lot of teaching, I am starting up two projects in the above mentioned fields.
