Research focus: The field of respiration in patients of all ages with congenital as well as acquired injuries and diseases, in and in relation to the respiratory system.
The research group has focus on the field of respiration in patients of all ages with congenital as well as acquired injuries and diseases in and in relation to the respiratory system. This includes the development and evaluation of examination methods and tests related to respiratory function. In addition, the development and evaluation of physiotherapeutic and general interventions are included.
The group's research can be divided into three specific areas:
- Pulmonary medicine with a focus on motor, sensory and inflammatory diseases.
- Surgery with a focus on patients who undergo, for instance, abdominal and / or thoracic surgery.
- Trauma with a focus on rehabilitation after for instance rib fractures.
