University of Gothenburg- Proud partner of West Pride 2013

West Pride is arranged for the 7th time in Gothenburg and this year the University of Gothenburg participates as a partner. The University hopes to contribute and support the work towards an open and equal society.

West Pride is a cultural festival, were people’s lives in the LGBT community is viewed through a cultural and artistic context. Its purpose is to highlight the diversity of expression by coordinating and arranging high quality art and culture.

Program

The festival starts on May 20 and ends on June 2. The University will along with the Centre for Interdisciplinary Gender Research, arrange a panel discussion about research and activism, on May 30 (held in Swedish).
