The Historical Labour Database (HILD) is now available in English

The Historical Labour Database, HILD, contains the most important official wage statistics for the years 1865-1990. The aim has been to gather the Swedish wage statistics in one database and make the material available to researchers, students and the general public. The database was published on 6 May, 2015, and the work has continued with an English version of the website, in order to make Swedish wage statistics available for international researchers.

The HILD project is conducted at the unit for Economic History at the Department of Economy and Society, and led by Professor Christer Lundh and Dr. Svante Prado. The HILD project has been enabled through financial support from Riksbankens Jubileumsfond and the University of Gothenburg.
