Swedish tax on electronics- politically viable, but legally vulnerable?

FRAM researcher associate Professor Pernilla Rendahl attended the research day on taxes on the 16th of March 2017.

Pernilla Rendahl discussed the new Swedish tax on chemicals in electroncis that will be in place from 1st of July this year. The tax only apply on electronics that are purchased from companies within Sweden. Pernilla discussed the political arguments as well as the legal. Is this type of excise an appropriate political instrument?
