IIE presented at the Baldy Conference on Universities, Innovation, and Development

Focusing on discussing and analyzing the internal and external facilitators and barriers to the role of the research university in regards to innovation and development in business and society, the Baldy Conference on Universities, Innovation, and Development took place at the State University of New York at Buffalo from April 7-8, 2018.

Representing the University of Gothenburg’s Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Evangelos Bourelos, assistant professor, and Ethan Gifford, postdoctoral researcher, presented current work-in-progress papers. Bourelos presented the paper: Sleeping Beauties in Nanotechnology: Delayed Recognition of Breakthrough Inventions.; Gifford presented the paper: The role of founder knowledge in the growth and survival of knowledge intensive new ventures.
