Published

Handelsbankens forskningsstiftelser has granted SEK 466 000 to the Swedish Postgraduate School in Economic History. This means that all the searched funds were granted. The grant will be used to cover travelling and accommodation costs in connection with courses, seminars and trips within the Postgraduate School.

The Swedish Postgraduate School in Economic History started in 2014 as a collaboration between the Departments of Economic History in Gothenburg, Lund, Stockholm, Umeå and Uppsala. The partnership has the overall aim to ensure a high quality of research training in economic history in Sweden. More specific objectives for the postgraduate school are to:

  • offer national postgraduate courses in economic history,
  • give all students access to postgraduate courses outside their own university,
  • give all students the opportunity to share expertise in economic history at other departments,
  • offer doctoral students the opportunity to meet doctoral students and senior researchers at other universities
