Conferment of Doctoral Degrees 2018

On Friday, during the formal ceremony, the Conferment of Doctoral Degrees was held in the Congress Hall at the Swedish Exhibition Centre.
151 doctors, 22 jubilee doctors and 11 honorary doctors received their doctoral degrees.

“This tradition is worthy of reflection: it symbolizes so much hard work for many years, so much endurance from both the dispute and family, friends, and all around who in various ways participate in the process of the dissertation.”, said Vice-Chancellor Eva Wiberg.

The Conferment of Doctoral Degrees is the University’s largest ceremonial occasion and is primarily intended for those who have recently completed their postgraduate studies and taken their doctoral exam.
