Our research

We conduct research in mathematics at the highest level – from fundamental theory to practical applications. Mathematical Sciences is an integrated department within the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers University of Technology. Most of our information is found on Chalmers’ web site, see links below.

Research in mathematical sciences

The researchers are included in one or more of our research areas. We organise conferences and workshops, and produce a large number of publications. Much of the research is conducted in scientific collaboration with colleagues from near and far, and every year we host a large number of guests.
