Teacher Education Programmes at the University of Gothenburg

One of teachers’ many important tasks is to stimulate and mould tomorrow’s everyday heroes and key figures. The University of Gothenburg has teacher education programmes leading to teaching certificates at all levels from pre-school to upper secondary and adult education. Internationalisation within the teacher education programmes is important in order to learn more about people’s circumstances in a globalised world. The teacher education at the University of Gothenburg has a long tradition of international cooperation. Some courses include field studies abroad to provide students with important comparative perspectives. Furthermore, our students have plenty of opportunities for exchange studies at one of our partner universities.
