Onboarding activities

During this and following months you will be invited to different onboarding activities. You will also be invited to Goin', an app for students admitted to the University of Gothenburg to connect through studies, hobbies, interests, and more. You will receive your personal invitation after your admission.

1 May 2026 - Deadline to pay tuition fee
For those required to pay tuition fee, 1 May is the deadline to make the payment. When you have received the notification of selection results, an email will be sent out with payment instructions. About tuition fee payments

During the summer, our International Centre will keep you updated with newsletters containing information about the Welcome Programme and other preparations for your move to Gothenburg.

August and September

31 August - The semester starts 
The official start of the autumn semester. You will receive programme-specific information about the start of your studies from your faculty or department.
