About Mette Sandoff
Mette Sandoff is the Deputy Vice-Chancellor responsible for issues regarding campus development and internationalization, at the University of Gothenburg. Deputy Vice-Chancellor responsible for issues regarding campus development and internationalization has the overall responsibility for campus development and sustainability as well as university-wide internationalization issues. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor responsible for issues regarding campus development and internationalization is the Chair in the planned board for campus development and sustainable development.
Mette Sandoff is a Professor in Public Administration. 2021-2023 Sandoff was the Acting Pro-Vice-Chancellor, responsible for work related issues (staff and students) and sustainable development as well as the Head of the University’s Disciplinary Board. Right before, 2012-2021, she had the position as the Deputy-Vice-Chancellor, strategically responsible for education and Head of the University's Board of Education. Former managerial positions are among others Vice-Dean at the School of Business, Economics and Law, Head of the Department of Business Administration and Board member of GU Executive Education AB as well as Universeum Science Park.
Sandoff has extensive and varied teaching and research experience and is conducting research within the fields of leadership and human resource management, especially in the service and public sectors. She is now conducting research on leadership for pedagogical development and learning among higher education teaching staff.
