International Centre

The International Centre is working with university-wide international affairs and is a contact point for foreign and Swedish organisations, concerning questions about internationalisation.

The unit is responsible for initiating and maintaining university-wide agreements with strategic partners, student exchanges based on the university-wide agreements, faculty and staff mobility, and international education projects. The unit also coordinate the university’s participation in international network and projects.

The International Centre serve as an expert resource for the whole university, working on both strategic leadership support and practical support for students and staff. The work is based around the internationalisation efforts of the university’s management, faculties and departments.

The International Centre is divided into five teams.

Team Europe

Team Europe has overall responsibility for applications and follow-up of the mobility programme Erasmus+, along with the development of collaborations within Europe. You can contact the team by e-mail at europe@gu.se.

Team Student Recruitment is a strategic support for faculties for recruitment of international students and is responsible for handling tuition fees and scholarships (Axel Adler Scholarship) for fee paying students.
