Short description

This group researches applications of machine learning to a range of probems including sentence processing in psycholinguistics, conversational AI, computational semantics, and traditional matters of natural language processing. We maintain a focus on psychological realism and take traditional theoretical concepts in linguistics seriously, and we have a special focus on corpus and resource development for specialized applications and behavioural research. The range of current activities includes everything from argument mining to psycholinguistic experimentation on quantifier interpretation to investigations into the linguistic role of gaze.
