The first Gothenburg Cancer Meeting (GCM2019) was held between 6th-7th of May. The meeting was organized by Sahlgrenska Cancer Center at Wallenberg Conference Centre, Medicinareberget in Gothenburg.
The purpose of this first meeting was to highlight the broad spectrum of cancer research conducted in Gothenburg, from various disciplines and many entities, as well as creating a place for interaction among these local researchers. The interest for this conference turned out to be great, since a total of 280 people registered.
