Geo researcher participated in the first Nobel Prize Summit

On 26-28 April the Nobel Foundation hosted the first Nobel Prize Summit. The Summit, titled "Our Planet, Our Future" explored the questions: What can be achieved in this decade to put the world on a path to a more sustainable, more prosperous future for all of humanity? One of the participants was Deliang Chen, Professor of Physical Meteorology at the Department of Earth Sciences.

The first Nobel Prize Summit brought together Nobel Prize laureates, scientists, policy makers, business leaders, and youth leaders as well as the the Swedish King and Crown Princess. 

 A public call for urgent actions based the deliberations was published afterwards. The call has been signed by 126 Nobel laureates and 29 international experts including Prof. Deliang Chen from the Department of Earth Sciences, University of Gothenburgh. .
