FOODbiz - Coordination meeting at UGOT

Published

On January 15th and 16th the FOODbiz “University and business learning for new employability paths in food and gastronomy” consortium met at the University of Gothenburg for the 3rd coordination meeting.

The meeting gathered representatives from the eight partners involved in the FOODbiz consortium: the University of Macerata (Italy) as coordinator; the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management of the University of Rijeka (Croatia); the University of Economics and Business of Poznan (Poland); the Piceno Lab of the Mediterranean Diet (Italy); the Svinesund Committee (Sweden); the European Cultural Tourism Network (ECTN); the International Institute of Gastronomy, Culture, Arts and Tourism (IGCAT), and the University of Gothenburg as hosting partner.

Discussion focused on the activities already carried out as well as on the upcoming tasks, in particular focusing on future multi-stakeholder workshops to be held at partner universities premises, and on learning materials to be developed accordingly. The workshops aim at boosting co-creation processes among students, businesses, policymakers and civil society by identifying emerging learning needs and providing ad hoc learning materials to fill these knowledge gaps. The next project meeting will take place after the FOODbiz final conference that will be held in Poznan (Poland) in October 2019.
