About Richard La Bontee
Dissertation Topic:
I will be conducting research into vocabulary learning strategies for Swedish Second Language Learners. The project seeks to observe strategies learners use to build their vocabulary, establish a categorization for these strategies in the Swedish context, then explore if it is possible to measure if any of those strategies are more effective in receptive or productive vocabulary learning. This project will also likely involve an analysis of learner individual differences, including motivation, learning styles and demographics.
