Ann Nordström is our new project finance officer and handle tasks generated by research projects. She likes to go outside and enjoy nature, and she knows how to perform the Flamenco.
What are you working with?
I work as a project finance officer and handle all existing financial tasks generated by our research projects, from invoice management to follow-up for the researchers, and reporting to the funders.
What did you do before?
Most recently, I was at HDK-Valand, where I worked as finance officer with budget and follow-ups. I also worked with follow-ups and reporting of educational projects.
What do you do when you are not working?
I like to go outside and enjoy nature; to read – to keep my language skills in Spanish, among other things; to meet friends – which has been a little more difficult in virus times; and I have recently also taken up genealogy.
Anything else you would like to share?
A few years ago, I went to flamenco courses, but it’s very difficult to maintain the skills at home. For me, it doesn’t work to stomp in my socks. It simply doesn’t feel the same.
