Alexandra Fried is an acting senior lecturer at the University of Gothenburg in the department of Cultural Sciences.

Background

Fried has studied art history at Baruch College and Queens College in New York (BA and MA). She wrote her PhD on The Swedish Madonnas: A Comparative Study of Wooden Sculptures of the Virgin and Child between 1250 and 1350” at University of Leicester in England.
