fertilisation curve

A fertilisation curve shows the optimum concentration of sperm for successful fertilisation. The coral Lophelia Pertusa is being studied at Tjärnö Marine Laboratory, and one of the goals is to produce a fertilisation curve for deep-sea coral so that the viability of coral reefs can be understood.

About the magazine

The first issue of Science Faculty Magazine was published in 2013 and the online version was launched in 2014. The print magazine will be published twice a year, in June and December and all articles are avaialble online. The magazine is published by the Faculty of Science at University of Gothenburg.
