Internship - General
Full-time, 20 weeks
This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience of academic work in an international research environment. As an intern, you will be actively involved in ongoing research projects and interact with scholars from diverse backgrounds. You will also be invited to participate in seminars, workshops, and other academic events organized by both the QoG Institute and the Department of Political Science.
An internship at the QoG Institute is particularly valuable for students considering a future academic career, but it also provides relevant skills for careers in research, policy analysis, and related fields.
What you can expect
The specific tasks will vary depending on ongoing projects, but as an intern you will have the chance to:
- Experience the day-to-day work at a leading research institute
- Take part in seminars and events hosted by the QoG Institute and the Department of Political Science
- Contribute to research through data collection, literature reviews, and research summaries
- Support administrative tasks related to academic projects
Who we are looking for
We welcome applications from highly motivated and self-driven master’s students with a strong interest in issues related to Quality of Government.
- Enrollment in a master’s program is required
- Knowledge of the statistical program R is an asset for some placements
- The working language is English
Please note that the internship is unpaid, but students will receive academic credits.
