Mathematics, Science and Technology
Research on teaching in mathematics, science and technology is central to this CUL research seminar. In this research seminar, we are interested in teaching in schools, preschools, teacher education, and in more informal environments such as science centers.
At the University of Gothenburg, there are several research environments within the field of mathematics, science, and education. The theme aims to contribute to gathering and fostering collaboration between these different environments.
The theme leaders are Senior Lecturer Ingela Bursjöö, Department of Physics, and Senior Lecturer Rimma Nyman, Department of Pedagogical, Curricular and Professional Studies.
We address doctoral students, researchers, practicing teachers, and school leaders who are interested in current research relevant to teaching in mathematics, science, and technology.
