Learning, text and language
Language is humanity’s most important tool for communication and for understanding oneself and the surrounding world. The thematic area Learning, text and language supports research on how literature, media, language and writing are acquired and function in education, working life and leisure contexts. New technologies and increasing expectations regarding people’s language, reading and writing competences have heightened the need for this type of research.
The thematic area is led by Professor Anna Nordenstam, Department of Literature, History of Ideas, and Religion, and Senior Lecturer Ann-Christin Randahl, Department of Swedish, Multilingualism, Language Technology.
