4th Nordic Conference on Infection Prevention and Control, November 24-26, Göteborg
The aim of the conference is twofold: To present recent and important research findings, and to inspire health care professionals and junior researchers to get started with research in the area.
Everyone is warmly welcome to the 4th Nordic Seminar on Infection Prevention and Control in Göteborg, Sweden.
The major talks from invited speakers will mainly focus on three themes:
- Demographic and ethnic differences regarding overall mortality and infectious diseases
- Ventilation to prevent spread of infections – basic facts and new research
- Group A streptococci – how should we treat it? Has the fear of antibiotic resistance gone to far? Lectures and debate
In addition, workshops will be held to inspire you to start and continue doing research in the area of infection prevention and control.
- Introduction to doing research (Monday before noon)
- How to write a research plan or application (Tuesday afternoon)
- How to conduct implementation research (Tuesday afternoon)
Finally, researchers are encouraged to present short talks about their research (Wednesday afternoon) or present posters (Poster viewing Tuesday afternoon).
We invite you to submit an Abstract if you want to share your data and findings.
The conference will also provide an excellent opportunity to make contacts with potential collaborators for Nordic research projects in infection prevention and control.
