Accommodation
Practical information about accommodation options in Gothenburg during the conference, including hotels and hostels located within walking distance of the venue or with easy access by public transport.
The conference will be held at one of the University's buildings, right next to the bus and tram stop named Grönsakstorget (for more information, see: https://www.gu.se/en/applied-information-technology/venue-esflc34). Unfortunately, we are not able to provide university halls accommodation as the public universities cannot own buildings (including halls) in Sweden in the same way the universities in, for example, the UK can. Fairly good accommodation options can be found in nearby areas: Avenyn, Heden, Linne and Vasastan, which would leave you within an approximately 20 minutes walk from the conference venue. Gothenburg is a very safe city and public transport (the trams in particular) is very good (for more information about travel, see: https://www.gu.se/en/applied-information-technology/travel) for those that choose to stay in accommodation a little further from the centre of the city, where things maybe more affordable.
