About Astrid Schubring

Associate professor in Sport Science, Astrid's research focuses on sociological and pedagogical aspects of physical education and organised sport. Astrid co-leads the SCoPE research group and teaches in the Sports Coaching bachelor program, the Physical Education Teacher and the Sport Science Master programs.

Prior to her employment at Gothenburg university, Astrid worked at the University of Tübingen, and at the University of Heidelberg, Germany.
