Admissions, Entrance Requirements
To be admitted, a Bachelor's degree of 180 credits is required in either of the three following areas: Human Resource Management and Labour Relations, Social Sciences or Business Administration. Please note that a BA in Economics or Law does not give eligibility.
Proficiency in English
Applicants must prove English proficiency: English 6/English B from Swedish Upper Secondary School or the equivalent level of an internationally recognized test, for example TOEFL or IELTS is required. Proficiency in English is deemed a necessity in view that the course curricula is exclusively in English.
Selection
The admissions selection criteria is based upon three groups:
Group 1) 20 % of the places are allocated to applicants with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations.
Group 2) 80% of the study places are allocated to applicants with 60 credits in one of the following disciplines within the fields of Business Administration and Social Science: Human Resource Management and Labour Relations, Management, Marketing, Organisation, Pedagogy, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Social Work, Sociology and Working Life Studies.
Group 3) allocation of places to all other applicants who fulfil the entrance requirements if study places are not filled by candidates from selection group one and two.
Letter of Intent/CV
Selection will also be based on an assessment of the academic and professional merits of applicants leading to judgment of their overall ability to successfully complete the programme. To assist in this process applicants should not only submit documentation demonstrating fulfillment of the entry requirements (i.e. degree certificate and transcript, certification of language skills) but also a Letter of Intent and a CV.
Upload the Letter of Intent/CV on www.universityadmissions.se or www.antagning.se no later than 1 February (if you apply in the first admission round) or 2 May (if you apply in the second admission round). Please use the form, Letter of Intent/CV which you will find below.
N.B. Applicants who do not submit these additional documents will be placed in Group 3 with 0 as credit value.
