We're pleased to announce two funded visitorships for polar marine researchers during 2025, supported by the Konsul GE Broms fund. Researchers specialising in polar marine science are invited to access and utilise Kristineberg's world-class facilities for up to one month in July or October–November 2025.

Two visitorships are offered to one early career researcher and one professor in the fields of Polar Marine Science. The recipients will be given full access to the center facilities to work on project (e.g. advanced experiment, meta-analysis, collect field data, test offshore equipment), deliver seminar, and interact with local partners to initiate or advise on research in their field.

The grant will cover travel and all the local costs (access, accommodation, food) for a stay of up to one months in July or between October-November 2025. Accompanying family can be accommodated.

Applications should be sent to sam.dupont@bioenv.gu.se by March 30, 2025 and include the application form and a CV.

Today we provide researchers, education, industry, and entrepreneurs with world-class marine infrastructure, services, and expertise. At Kristineberg you'll find laboratories, test sites, advanced equipment and research vessels, which provide excellent conditions for research, education, and innovation.
